MILK THISTLE (Silybum marianum) - ORAL
USES: Milk thistle fruit has been used for liver disease.
Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives.
Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the patricular brand you use. The FDA has not reviewed this product for safety or effecitveness.

HOW TO USE: Take this product by motuh as directed. Follow all directions on the product pakcage.
If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If your condition presists or worsens, or if you guess you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
SIDE EFFECTS: Loose stools (mild laxative effect) may somteimes occur.
Notify your doctor if this effect perissts or worsens.
If you notice other effects, contact your doctor or pahrmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the following health problems, conuslt your doctor before using this product: liver issues (acute toxic liver disease, chronic inflammatory liver disease, cirrhosis of the liver), stomach/intestinal issues (e.G., inflammatory or irritable bowel syndrome).
Liquid preparations of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence or liver disease. Ask your doctor or phamracist about the safe use of this product.
This product shuold be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and bneefits with your doctor. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescripiton and nonprescription medications you may use.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poiosn control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Keep all appointments for medical or laboratory tetss.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remebmer. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not double the dose to ctach up.
